Rare Piece of Italian Design – Giorgio Rinaldi
Selling a rare piece of art — the T 4000 dining table (WITHOUT CHAIRS), designed by Giorgio Rinaldi for Rima, Italy, around 1970. An original vintage designer piece with a beautiful chrome base and round tempered-glass top, made to withstand heat.
The table was purchased from Italy decades ago! At the time, direct delivery to Norway wasn’t available, so it was shipped to Sweden, personally picked up, and driven to Norway.
The original price was around 47,000 NOK, excluding shipping, Norwegian VAT (MVA), and import costs, making the total cost considerably higher.
The glass top has been protected with a clear protective film. There are only minimal signs of age on the glass underneath. All other visible marks on the top are on the protective film, not on the glass itself.
Overall, the table is in pristine condition considering it is over 50 years old — around 9/10.
