For sale: refurbished iPod Classic 5th gen as released in late 2006 (also known as the enhanced iPod Video or 5.5th gen, which features a brighter screen and search function). Upgraded with a 160GB hard drive, brand new battery and new custom exterior. Incl. 30-pin charging and syncing cable!
The front is custom made by spraying the inside of a transparent faceplate with paint specifically designed for polycarbonates. A sparkle effect is achieved by applying different layers. The result is difficult to capture in pictures, but really pops under direct sunlight! It reminds me of a starry night sky. I've not seen anyone else do this and the result is truly unique. The paint is applied to the inside so will not wear off. Best seen in person!
The original 30GB hard drive has been replaced with a more recent 160GB drive, which means tons of storage for all of your music, videos and games. The iPod also features a new chrome back (which correctly indicates 160GB of storage), new clickwheel, assembly and a brand new battery. These devices are 20 years old and original batteries are all (close to) death by now, the new battery ensures good battery life. There's some light surface scratches (from handling while testing), otherwise this iPod appears as new. Thoroughly tested: works entirely as expected!
