Medieval kirtle and gown/dress and overdress.
Made as a Game of Thrones outfit, inspired by House of Stark. Only worn twice for events.
Blue-grey linen dress with back lacing, bodice and skirt fully lined.
Dark blue wool dress/gown with a train, tie front and dramatic drop sleeves, fully linen lined.
Shift/serk/under dress is included with sale if wished, but has some small damages.
Approx size 8/10uk or eu38. With the lacing closed the linen dress is 70cm waist, 92cm bust. You can easily lace it to fit 5-7cm bigger. The gown over ties at the front and can be tied close together of with space (if you eat too much at the feast!).
I am 158cm tall and the skirts go on the floor at the back (it looks good but you will get wet skirts if walking through puddles!). It would be fine in someone a bit taller as well.
All the fabric is good quality. I usually make historically accurate clothing- this gown/overdress is NOT historically accurate.
The blue-grey linen dress would work for medieval re-enactment if worn with suitable accessories. It has hand sewn details and lacing holes, but coloured linen is not strictly accurate.
Both work as LARP or medieval clothes if you do not mind the anachronisms!
I have a man’s quilted doublet and leather jerkin for sale as well, made to go with this outfit.
