Fantastisk fint maleri i nydelige farger inspirert av Wisley botaniske hage utenfor London. Størrelsen er 100cm x 75cm x 4 cm.
Undoubtedly one of the great gardens of the world, Wisley is home to an amazing number of luscious flowers and stunning greenery. The garden is awash with beautiful colours and it is inspiring to see all the magnificent displays of flowers in full bloom.
By building up many layers of texture and colour, using brushes and palette knives, the artist creates a rich surface and vibrant relationships between random shapes and deliberate markings in her work. She also uses charcoal and oil pastels to heighten the botanical impressions and create depth and movement in her paintings. The drips in her work illustrate the endless cycle of growth and decay in organic structures, which again is a reflection of life itself.
The botanical forms on the canvas are inspired by flowers but in an abstract way in order to create a visual language that gives the viewer room for their own interpretations and dialogues. There is a constant awareness in her work to create translucency and light within the paintings and to show the ethereal beauty of nature.
