Long term Oslo home for a couple (AHO Junior Professor + Design Researcher)

We are Enrique and Markéta, two junior design professors/researchers (Arkitektur- og designhøgskolen i Oslo and Aalto-yliopisto) living joyfully in the Oslo fjord, following its ebbs and flows to do different things like hiking & running in forests, sauna & swimming, and enjoying all kinds of art, design and architecture things that come our way. We are easy people, we don't smoke, have no pets (sadly), and don't produce much noise. Now, we are looking for a new home. We believe a place becomes a home when caring for it, so we are mostly interested in spaces that are habitable and might need some manual work. We have experience with woodwork, metal work, paint, electronics, gardening, and other diy home-improvement affairs. Location is not very important as long as there is good public transport to the city center.
