One bedroom available in two bedroom apartment (63sqm) in Grønland

Hello! I’m renting out one bedroom in a bright, cozy two-bedroom apartment (63 m²) in Grønland, close to Tøyen. The apartment is very central, close to the T-bane, busses 60, 37, 30, and, 31, small markets and grocery stores, gyms and workout studios, great food, close to the water, everything you could want!

The room is 14 m² and furnished with a 140×200 cm bed and two wardrobes, though the bed can be removed if you prefer your own. The rest of the bedroom is otherwise all yours to decorate and make homey. A large window overlooks the backyard and Oslo’s urban greenery. The apartment has a separate kitchen, living room, and bathroom with a dishwasher and washing machine. I moved in recently, so while it’s mostly furnished, there’s still space to add art, furniture, and other touches to make it feel like home (on that note, more photos coming soon!).

About me: I’m a 34-year-old woman from the U.S., living in Oslo for about a year and a half and working full-time as an environmental policy researcher. I’m active and social, often out and about, but I love relaxing at home with a movie, shared meal, or late-night conversation. My sweet cat, Sasha, is part of the household—she adores cuddles and has lived with dogs before, so cat lovers are a must and we are open to a dog joining us as well.

What I’m looking for: Someone in their late 20s to 40s who can commit to at least six months. All gender identities are welcome. I’d love a roommate who is open-minded and kind—progressive, anti-racist, LGBTQIA+ friendly—and enjoys a home that values sharing, learning, and good conversation.
