Selling my adventure van due to buying a car for work, and not being able to have 2 cars.

Possibly can drive it to any part of Norway (but of course you have to buy it before, so I don't drive back in case you decide not to buy it).

A lot of equipment (installed and not) is coming together with the car. Check out the list of equipment below. The total price of the equipment is around ~70k NOK (or roughly 40k if sell it as used)

All service (all filters, all belts and all together, brakes, engine oil, gearbox oil, brake fluid) was done recently. See more information below.

A lot of big services were done in previous years, just to make it run better than before.

• If you are interested in it only as a van, I can sell it without any equipment (or partially equipped) for a much lower price.
• The car is 100% ready for traveling. Fill up the drawers and the fridge with food and wine, and you are ready for an adventure :) Still 2 months of summer left!

The car is running properly, with EU control until 27 June 2027. Some issues as it should be for a 23-year-old car. In general in pretty good condition, much better than most T4 on the market.

A lot of equipment goes with the van.

Equipment as for campervan:

Electronics:

• 3x ~200w solar panels, total 600w (real life maximum charge is 400-500w/h) (price new ~6000 NOK) - can be removed in 10 minutes (4 bolts each + disconnecting wires), so you can use roof bars (x4) for transporting something. During summer months panels can generate up to 4000Wh/day in a clear sky day, if needed.

• Victron SmartSolar MPPT 100/ 30 (price new ~1500 NOK) - solar charger
• Victron Orion-Tr Smart DC-DC - 12/12 V, 30 Amp, 360 W (price new ~2500 NOK) - charger for charging from car alternator (dynamo)
• Blue Smart IP22 Charger 12/30 (Price new ~2000 NOK) - charger when you plug with external 240V in campings/at home, can be connected to the external outlet (calix)
• DIY LiFePO4 battery 230 Ah with heating and thermostat (price new ~10000 NOK for only cells + BMS), with a lot of work into the system that keeps the battery always warm, means it doesn't waste time to heat up the battery first, when you start driving after a cold night. Insulation greatly reduces heat losses. You can leave the fully charged battery in -20 for a week, and then start the car and it will immediately start to charge.
• Victron SmartShunt (price new ~1000 NOK) - measuring in/out electricity so you can know how much power you have

All Victron electronics with Bluetooth, so you can see everything on your phone (solar charging, battery temperature, how much left, etc)

• Pure Sine Inverter 1500w (price new ~2000 NOK)
• Fuse box with light
• Schneider switches (16A fuse for 240V things, 63A switch/fuse for solar, and switch for inverter/external 240V) (new price ~1000 NOK)
• Fridge Alpicool CX50 (new price ~3500 NOK)
• WiFi 4G router TP-Link Archer MR600 (new price ~1000 NOK) connected directly to 12v system, can be always on.

Interior:

• Single bed 80cm to 105 cm. Possibly to sleep for 2 people. Mattress is 80cm. Bed lid can be lifted and has a storage for 3 boxes 600x400x400 (boxes not included)
• All interior panels are replaced with plywood 4-6mm.
• 2 spot lights above the desktop. 2 dimmable RGB led strips above the bed, can be controlled with remote.
• Roof fan with light, can be controlled with remote.
• Desktop ~40x150
• Retractable keyboard table or a bed table, depends on situation :)
• 7 drawers under desktop, can fir a lot of thing. With amazing push-to-open system.

The desktop with drawers is DIY, made with a lot of love, hard to tell the price, but probably around 10000 NOK only for plywood and push-to-open rails. And dozens of hours of work.

• Kitchen "box" with 3 drawers for food
• 5l water canister with USB rechargeable tap for easy water access
• Nespresso Essenza Mini capsule machine (price new ~1000 NOK)

• Flextrash bin + wallmount suction cup (so it can be used also outside)
• Rear window curtain with sliders, easy to open and close, with magnets on the side

Other things:

• Thule Bike rack for up to 4 bikes (never used for more than 2, so no idea if you can actually fit 4) (price ~3000 NOK) Not on the main photos, as it is removed from the car right now. Can sell without it if you don't need it.
• Rotating driver's seat (price ~1500 NOK)
• EVA mats for driver/passenger. Amazing mats that can hold a lot of dirt/water, easy to clean
• Wireless charger/holder for phone with automatic opening/closing
• OBD2 bluetooth connectors (for car data nerds)

• x2 USB ports with voltmeter
• XT60 connector instead of classic 12V plug (with bigger cable, so it can power up to 30A). Can be used for charging main car battery
• NOCO car battery charger 10A with XT60 connector. Can be also used as an extra +10A charger for the lithium battery (if DC/DC charger is on) (new price ~1000 NOK)
• Diesel heater 2kw with remote, with replaced pump for more silent. The pump is also outside, so it's hard to hear it (the fan of the heater makes more noise) (new price ~1500 NOK)

Car upgrades/repairs:

• 1 set of summer wheels PH Edition II Turbin Gold color + BFGoodrich KO2 All-Terrain (new price total ~12000 NOK)
• 1 set of winter wheels PH Edition II Turbin gray color + Nokian Hakkapeliitta 9 (new price total ~12000 NOK) - tires are pretty old, but still good for 1-2 season on snow/ice
• The car has vibrodamping all doors, bonnet, and cabin roof. So it doesn't sound as a tin can when you close the doors.
• Car has insulation all the sides, floor, roof, doors. Some parts with rockwool, floor and living part with XPS, sliding doors, tailgate and cabin roof with 32mm Armaflex
• Last year replaced ALL brakes calipers + hoses. Calipers are painted in bright red
• Replaced hand brake wire
• NEW cylinder head lid (it was leaking)
• All belts (pump+toothed+timing) + waterpump were replaced last year.
• Replaced all vacuum hoses for silicone ones
• NEW oil + all possible filters replaced this summer
• 3 years ago had a full check and restoration of fuel injection pump during
• 2 years ago replaced full turbo system: New turbo, new EGR, new sensors, MAF, etc (total was about ~10000 NOK only for parts)
• Bushings, silent blocks, steering rods, front suspension was replaced 5 years ago
• No-logo front grill

The car was serviced often. The car has small oil leak since I bought it 8 years ago. Couldn't find the reason, so installed an extra protection for oil drops. Need to be cleaned completely before EU-kontroll so it doesn't make problems.

The car was recently refreshed with a layer of lack (by me) which wansn't perfect, so it has some visible marks. Probably could be fixed with polishing. Anyway, not a big issue, as it is still better than normally paint condition on cars over 20 years old.

The car was in full use for traveling in Norway for last years.

It is a reliable car, but as it's old, anything can appear suddenly. So need to always check it and care about it. A lot of parts are super cheap, compare to the newer cars. No sensors, not much electronics.

The timing of the diesel injector pump is most likely a bit wrong right now (after dumb mechanics who didn't set it up properly). So ideally it needs to be checked with computer (VCDS or similar). It doesn't create problems though, except bad start when cold (easy fix with 3 ignition on-off before start of the engine)

I wish I could keep the car, but most likely with me right now it would be standing for most of the year without driving.

Come for a test drive if you are interested. Possible to take for a longer test drive (little adventure), but only for local people or some checks/guarantees :)

Also I can consider to rent it for a long period.

Can consider to sell it without something to make it cheaper for you.

Possibly can consider to sell only the car. Offer the price.

The price right now is really low, considered the costs of what inside the car, things replaced, and hundreds of hours of work put into the car. The price of the all equipment and work inside the car is above 100000 if you would buy it new. My price for it calculated roughly 50%.

Selling it "as is". With potential support with finding parts, advising something, etc. As it is an old car, I can't guarantee anything, especially considering the price.

This is a good choice for someone who is good with tools, as most of the things are easy to fix by yourself, unlike on newer cars.
