I hoped that I would be able to afford getting the bobil through the EU test this year, but alas the quote I received and my lack of mechanic skills mean that I am looking to sell my cozy bybobil, which could be yours ready to go right before summer. I lived in it last year for 6 months August-January, and again a month in April, and had an amazing time on my Euro trip climbing across the continent.

I am selling it for 42k and I got a pristilbud for 78k which would make the van total 120k for a van that can last many more kms and years. Someone who has mechanics skills or wants to/has time to learn could fix it up for far less.

*** Living section of the van ***

Having lived in one other bobil, I can say that the living section of this bobil is really smartly designed by the previous owners:

• hyttefølelse med wood interior, shelves, and plenty of storage space
• I am 180cm tall and I can stand upright! I think also works for you up to 182 and taller could stand straight where the roof window is
• 8 kW dieselheater - "Chinese diesel heater" connected to the main tank and draws diesel until main tank is 1/4 full. Started with electricity from the batteriesSuper nice when living in it in the winter! Previous owners lived in Lofoten through the winter with it. Remote control to start it from a long range when you are outside the van.
• 150 W portable Solcelle Panel
• 2x 74 ah batteries
• gas (propane) stove with newly refilled 10-11 kg gassflaske (industriflaske connector)
• Alarms: gas alarm, carbon monoxide alarm, and fire alarm (fire extinguisher also included)
• fridge
• Kitchen table extends out from under the bed
• Foot-pump sink with 12L clean water and 12L waste water collection
• TV/PC screen (the one that comes with the van is smaller than the one shown in the pictures)
• Lights: 2 main lights, 1 in the kitchen, 1 over the bed, 1 spotlight in the kitchen great for cooking, 1 reading lamp, LED lights in the storage space under the bed
• 4 USB outlets and a 12V outlet
• Can also sell CoCraft portable battery that I used for the PC screen/laptop charging for 4000 kr extra
• XPS Insulated walls, roof, floor, and doors
• Mounted windows on the side and roof for good air circulation
• Extendable bed: 150cm during the day with backrest as a sofa bed, lengthened to 200cm in the evening as a flat bed. Width: 120 cm but the storage could be removed to make the width 160cm
• 3 seats: 1 over the fridge and a bench for 2 by the door
• Hangers for skis/surfboards under the bench

*** More info on the car ***

• The car has spent most of its life in Stavanger and Northern Norway and therefore there is very little rust under the car (they don't use as much salt as in Oslo). There is some surface rust in the paint that just needs to be sanded and painted. I conducted sanding and painting last year right after purchasing, as did the previous owners, and this maintenance just needs to be continued as is normal with cars. The rust paint and white spray paint will come with the car.
• Cruise control is wonderful for longer trips!
• The car goes up to 130 km/h but the diesel usage begins to be quite high with high speeds. It still works well for passing on the highway.
• Factory mounted engine heater (motorvarmer) for winter usage
• CD player and FM radio
