Mazda RX-7

A remarkably well-preserved Mazda RX-7 FD3S in exceptionally original condition. This is a left-hand-drive, US-spec example that was originally sold new in Columbus, Ohio, in 1994.

The first owner took excellent care of the car from day one and later privately imported it to Sweden in the early 2000s, retaining ownership until 2016.

For many years, the car was primarily used for recreational touring throughout Europe. It has since been serviced and thoroughly inspected by Gzon Tuning, one of Northern Europe’s leading specialists in rotary engines and Japanese sports cars.

The vehicle has been carefully inspected, is ready for immediate delivery, and fully prepared for a summer of driving, road trips, and enjoyment.

The engine has recently undergone a compression test with very good results. All fluids have been replaced, the turbo vacuum hoses have been refreshed, and common service items have been reviewed and addressed where necessary.

Mechanically, the car feels extremely solid, with smooth power delivery, a tight drivetrain, and an overall well-maintained character.

The original paint remains in unusually fine condition, showing only minor stone chips, small dents, and light scratches consistent with age and use. The body is 100% rust-free.

The interior presents like a low-mileage example, free from dried-out plastics, broken switches, or the wear and tear commonly seen on these cars. The center console has been replaced with a new OEM unit, as the original had developed some cosmetic scratches.

The car is currently configured as a two-seater with the factory rear storage bins installed, although the original rear seats can be included in the sale. Custom-made leather luggage bags designed specifically for the cargo area may also be included for a smooth transaction.

A GPS tracking system is installed; the new owner simply needs to activate their own subscription.

The car rides on new high-performance Yokohama Advan AD08RS tires mounted on exceptionally clean OEM wheels.

Worth noting is that the original Bose audio system has been removed, and the shock absorbers are among the few components beginning to show the car’s age and mileage. However, they remain fully functional and do not require immediate replacement.

This is not a delivery-mile collector car, but rather an unusually honest, well-preserved, and ready-to-drive FD3S for someone seeking originality, proper history, and high quality. Values of these cars continue to rise as the supply of unmodified, unmolested examples has dwindled to nearly zero.
