Group Accounting Manager

Group Accounting Manager is responsible for establishing procedures and processes in the area of accounting in Norway is in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, and provide technical assistance to corporate executives, and provide professional training in the finance- and accounting team.

Group Accounting Manager has the superior personnel- and technical responsibility for accounting, resource requirements, distribution of tasks and planning and implementation of training.

The position reports to Group Chief Accountant.

Arbeidsoppgaver

• Planning of monthly and year-end closing process
• Consolidation
• Review of the reporting companies in the group structure
• Reporting and related communication with the main shareholder
• Assisting with the preparation of quarterly and annual reports in consultation with the Group Chief Accountant
• Ongoing assistance and follow-up of accountingpersonnel at Shared Services
• Communication and cooperation towards other corporatefunctions as required
• Communication and cooperation with other relevantparties (external auditors, internal auditors, government)
• Overseeing the preparation of the local financial statements for some Norwegian subsidiaries
• Assist in development of internal audit controls and procedures
• Responsible for tax calculation and filing
• System follow-up of accounting part of the ERP system (IFS)

Kvalifikasjoner

• Relevant higher education or other relevant experience
• It is necessary to have knowledge of relevant laws, regulations and experience in similare field related to the position`s area of expertise
• Good knowledge of English, oral and written
