Corporate Project Controller

Scatec Solar is looking for a Corporate Project Controller to support the EPC segment on the structuring and construction phase of solar power plants. This position manages the cost controlling activities of a portfolio of projects supporting the local Project Cost Controllers and the Project Managers. The Corporate Project Controller will work as an integrated member of the EPC project execution team and will be reporting to Vice President Controlling.

Responsibilities

• ensure Quality Assurance (QA) on the cash flows of the portfolio of assigned projects 
• prepares bi-weekly, monthly, and ad hock reports in coordination with the Project Cost Controller and the PM for internal and external reporting 
• supports the Project Cost Controllers to ensure that the cost controlling activities are aligned with HQ policies and tools.
• evaluate financial impact on the project margin of changes and variations in Scope of Work of the portfolio of assigned projects.
• liaison with Legal, Tax, Treasury and the Project Management team ensuring contractual requirements are met with respect to items such as Letters of Credit, milestone payments, tax certificates etc. 
• tight control of the Gross Margin through QA on the estimates to complete and the analysis of all Risks and opportunities of the portfolio of assigned projects.
• responsible for monitoring the local Project Cost Controller to ensure invoices are submitted timely, payments are received, and any contract/invoice issues are resolved.

Ønskede kvalifikasjoner

• higher degree within finance/business or equivalent
• 5-10 years' experience in project controlling and/or business controlling with successful track record in cost control and risk management
• fluent in English, both written and spoken

• ability to consolidate data from a number of sources for presentation
• strong analytical and problem solving skills
