Cloud & DevOps Engineer

The Hatteland Group develops and builds companies – and has created a number of international successes. One of the group's most important focus areas is EMP Secure, which provides secure IT-services and cloud consulting.

We are building a strong Cloud Infrastructure Consultancy practice in EMP Secure, and are looking for highly skilled cloud infrastructure professionals who want to join our strong community of tech-enthusiasts.

Your job responsibilities

As a Cloud & DevOps Engineer in EMP Secure, you will be solving challenging problems, within a variety of domains, for our customers using Public Cloud technologies. You will also perform assessments on pre-existing architectures, governance in cloud platforms, define best practice utilization of technologies, and participate in security reviews, among other things.

You will be central in building a strong, long-lasting relationship with our strategic customers, who are industry leaders in their field. You will also be vital to building a strong internal community and take an active role in our expansion towards new, exciting opportunities.

You will be working alongside some of the top Cloud Infrastructure experts in the market who have a genuine interest in learning new technologies and helping each other succeed. Our recipe for success is people and you may expect a steep learning curve with lots of cheers and encouragement on the way.

Qualifications we’re looking for

• 3+ years relevant IT experience (IT development, infrastructure or consultancy)
• 2+ years relevant experience on managing infrastructure on a public cloud platform (Azure or AWS)
• Designing and setting-up comprehensive architectures in a public cloud platform (Azure or AWS)
• Experience with any of the Infrastructure as Code platforms (Terraform, Azure Bicep, Ansible etc.)
• Experience with any of the container and container orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Container Apps, AWS Fargate, etc)
• Basics of Linux and Shell Scripting
• Good to have basic knowledge of Python
• Relevant certifications on cloud technologies (Azure or AWS)
• English and Norwegian
