Stabæk Fotball is a major Norwegian football club with top-tier teams on both the men's and womens side, a leading youth academy for both boys and girls, and over 850 children and youth playing in age-specific teams. The mens team debuted in Eliteserien in 1995 and won the Norwegian Cup in 1998. We became league champions in 2008, runners-up in 2007, and have collected several medals in the top division. In 2010, our womens first team went undefeated in the Toppserien season, making us the first club in Norway to win league titles in both mens and womens football.

Over time, our academy has become one of the countrys leading development environments. We are proud to have played a role in the journeys of many players and coaches who have gone on to succeed in top European football.

We work closely with NTG (The Norwegian School of Elite Sport), and we are now seeking a dedicated and ambitious coach to lead the development of our next generation of talented players. The NTG/Stabæk project is a fully integrated school-football model, with training primarily held during school hours in close coordination with the mens first team. As head coach for this group, you will lead a large and professional coaching staff and work with some of the countrys most promising young players.

At Stabæk, player development is a central part of our identity. As head coach for Stabæk and NTGs G19 group, we expect you to be passionate about developing players, maintain high coaching standards, and have strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop our next generation of young players to reach their highest potential.
• Lead a broad coaching team, including assistant coaches, player developers, goalkeeper coach, physiotherapist, and strength & conditioning coach.
• Collaborate closely with the first-team staff, sporting leadership, NTG, and the rest of the academy to ensure a holistic player development process.
• Take primary responsibility for planning, delivering, and evaluating training sessions and matches for the G19 group. You will also serve as head coach for Stabæk 2 in the Norwegian Third Division, the National G19 League, and the G19 Norwegian Cup.
• Hold strategic responsibility for the G17 team (daily training and matches are led by other coaches in the academy).
• Teach Elite Sports (10 hrs/week) and Physical Education (2 hrs/week) at NTG. Responsibilities include classroom instruction, follow-up with students, grading, tracking sports-related absences, contributing to school meetings, and providing individual support. Office presence at NTG is required on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Who Are We Looking For?

Were looking for someone with:

• Coaching and/or playing experience at the elite level, with the ability to develop players for Eliteserien or higher.
• Experience working with players aged 1519.
• UEFA Pro License, or at minimum UEFA A License or UEFA Youth Elite A License.
• A relevant Bachelors or Masters degree is a plus. More important than your specific academic background is your ability to process complex information, make sound decisions, and find solutions.
• A positive attitude and genuine care for people.
• Strong digital literacy.
