Finance Manager

Mittanbud Marketplaces is a Nordic house of brands for home services, helping consumers navigate thousands of businesses and select and contract with the best service provider for them.

The platform connects customers with craftsmen in a wide range of categories, ranging from large house remodelling and renovation projects to smaller home improvement services. On the other side, we help craftsmen and other small and medium-sized businesses to get customers and grow their business. The core mission is to grow our marketplaces in all Nordic markets. The finance manager role will be key to deliver on this mission. As a finance manager, you will be responsible for the accounting policies across the Nordic countries, collaborating with multiple teams and assuring the reporting standards across the group.

As a finance manager in Mittanbud Marketplaces you will be responsible for:

• Act as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders, auditor and outsourced accounting and payroll partner.
• Cash management.
• Support the CFO with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Review and validate monthly management accounts, cash flow reports, and financial statements.
• Monitor company financial performance and provide variance analysis.
• Oversee and ensure compliance with tax, legal, and financial and sustainability reporting requirements.
• Manage internal controls and assist in process improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate annual audit preparation and support auditor interactions.
• Support business units with financial insights and ad hoc analysis.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in collaboration with external partners.

We are looking for people who:

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA is a plus).
• 4-6+ years of relevant experience in accounting or finance , preferable experience managing outsourced functions (experience from a leading international financial service provider is an advantage).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles (IFRS) and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in financial systems and Excel (experience with Xledger is a plus).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in one of the Nordic languages (Norwegian, Swedish or Danish) are required.
