About your future role as Developer for Security Solutions
You'll be part of a cryptography and Terminal Management department. We are 20 dedicated specialists divided in two teams. The team you to join works with Key Generation, Key Management and HSM Service Providing. Your job will be to develop Security Solutions and location will be Oslo, Norway.

As crypto specialist you’ll join an open and sharing community with highly skilled colleagues. You can come as you are and be at your best at Nets. You’ll find the freedom to balance an exciting job with life outside of work. 

Your key responsibilities in this role will be:

• Participation in customer projects by leading and executing analysis, design, development, documentation, test, and implementation of key management functionality

• Cryptographic system changes according to international standards, industry standards and best practice, PCI requirements and Nets regulations

• Support Business Units and IT with technical knowledge, troubleshooting during application tests and resolution of operational issues within the area of key management and cryptography 

• Programming of secure applications and portals

• Ensure crypto or key related incidents are supported and resolved in a timely and professional manner and that their root causes are identified and eliminated

Qualifications needed to be successful in this role:

• Good collaborative skills and a sense of humour

• Ability to work on critical infrastructure under time pressure

• Accountable and take ownership for solutions and systems

• Degree within engineering and/or IT or a compensating experience

• Good language skill in English and Scandinavian languages

Additional skills and experience that would make you stand out:

• Programming languages like C, Perl, Bash, Java, Go

• Technologies like Linux, SQL, HAProxy, Grafana

• Network security

• Linux system administration

• IT projects

Knowledge of:

• International payment cards standards (e.g., EMV, Visa, MasterCard, PCI)

• Cryptography, Hardware Security Module

You do not have to be totally detail oriented or a little detective, but it does not harm If you by nature are curious, enjoy digging into the detail and have a natural ability to take ownership for your tasks to secure successful completion. You are known to have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills combined with good judgement and decision making. You should enjoy collaborating and communicating with stakeholders at all levels, across cultures and organizational units as well as working independently.
