Would you like to be at the centre of our digital development responsible for growing savings across Nordea? We are seeking a business minded Product Owner (PO) to join Team Norsemen, a joint venture team between Digital Wealth and Nordea Life & Pension Norway (NLP NO) to integrate the Norwegian Pension & Risk offering into Nordea Digital.

In this role you will get to leverage the best of Nordea Digital to accelerate the digital growth of the Norwegian Pension and Risk market. You join a team of talented developers, business analysists and designers, supported by brilliant Train and Hub colleagues to ensure you are set up for success.

About this opportunity

As the PO, you will play a key role in achieving the Pension and Risk vision of creating: Easy to use, world-class digital pension & risk solutions, building confidence and securing financial well-being today and for the future. Moreover you will lead a development team in Digital Wealth providing a one-stop shop in Nordea Digital - our Mobile and Netbank solutions for all NLP Norway products.

You will work alongside a number of other Pension and Risk product focused teams within Digital Wealth, and be supported by the vastly experienced NLP NO development teams. The Norwegian pension market is unique in terms of the regulatory environment, and this role allows you to work with many stakeholders across the savings value chain to build a broad understanding of the product offering.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading an agile team consisting of business resources and IT developers
  • Taking part in strategic decisions to guide us towards the right priorities
  • Identifying customer needs and market trends to ensure the digital solutions are market leading and that product development is in accordance with customer needs and business priorities
  • Building a long term roadmap and securing deliveries on agreed priorities
  • Taking end-to-end ownership and driving coordination across the entire value chain to make sure that customer needs and regulations are understood and implemented
  • Motivating and coaching your dedicated team
  • Challenging the team and others around you to constantly develop our ways of working
  • Staying updated on business opportunities to inspire your development and priorities

As the role is focused on Norwegian deliveries the preferred location is Oslo. However, applicants based in the capitals of the 4 Nordic countries will be considered.

Your experience and background:

  • Understand the Norwegian Savings Market and customer needs. Existing understanding of the Life and Pensions business and product offering is also a bonus
  • Are acquainted with agile way of working and methods and have experience as a Business Analyst or other change management experience
  • Solid knowledge or interest within the saving and investment business domain
  • You have excellent communication skills in English and local language, both spoken and written
