We are now looking for an ambitious and self-driven Credit Officer to strengthen our Credit Risk Team in Norway (NFE Credit & Risk). NFE Credit & Risk is responsible for the credit analysis and decisions of all corporate customers in NFE within the Nordics in different industries.

Nordea Finance Equipment AS is the leading company within equipment leasing and factoring in the Nordics. We are a part of the Nordea Group, and a separate sister company to Nordea Finans AS until we merge into one Nordea Finance.

About this opportunity

Welcome to the Credit & Risk team in Nordea Finance Equipment. Our ultimate goal and purpose is to ensure a first class credit process, providing a strong support to the business lines of NFE and to contribute to the value chain within NFE. As a Credit Officer in NFE Credit & Risk, you will be working with an existing part of NFEs portfolio and develop strong credit, industry and core banking competences within this area.

What you'll be doing:

• Perform credit risk assessments in relation to various financing transactions
• Take credit decisions within own personal power to act
• Take credit decisions as a member of a local credit committee
• Participate within the administration of the local credit committee
• Contribute on a regular basis as an advisor for risk related items towards the business line

The role is based in Oslo, but alternative location can be considered for the right candidate.

Your experience and background:

• Experience within corporate analysis or corporate banking is considered as an advantage
• Bachelor/Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or another relevant field
• Professional skills in analysing and interpreting financial information
• Good knowledge of the MS Office tools, and particularly Excel
• Have great communication skills in English, and fluent in at least one of the Nordic languages
