Vianode is looking for a Corporate Finance Business Analyst to join their Finance team at Skøyen, Oslo.
Our first industrial plant for the production of anode graphite is under construction in Norway, with start of production scheduled for the second half of 2024. The next phase will involve construction of a large-scale plant, and this is in the planning stage, with production targeted during 2027.

To support our exciting growth phase, we are now hiring for the position of Corporate Finance Business Analyst. The role will be exposed to a wide range of tasks and areas, and will work closely with the CFO and other central stakeholders. The role reports to the CFO.

Key responsibilities in the role

Support in defining and driving the strategic and financial agenda
Key contributor to activities and projects involving capital structure, funding and investments
Financial modelling, forecasting and valuation
Prepare financial analysis and reports to management and owners
Provide support in the identification and development of strategic growth opportunities
Support the CFO on various finance related work streams, and carry out financial duties and responsibilities as required
Contribute to developing the technical knowledge of other team members
Ad hoc projects

Required qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance and accounting or other relevant qualification
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience from management consulting, investment banking, financial advisory, transaction due diligence, audit or similar
Advanced knowledge of investment valuation and excellent financial modelling skills
Excellent communication skills in English; Norwegian is an advantage
Genuine interest in the green transition, battery technology and sustainability

Personal skills

High level of integrity along with strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Independent and proactive, yet still a team player
Self-driven with an ability to work under pressure
Good business acumen and ability to analyze complex issues
Solution orientated and dedicated with a willingness to take ownership of tasks

Location: This position is based in Oslo (Skøyen).
