About this opportunity
This is a role within Personal Banking (PeB) Analytics Norway for Data, Digital Sales and Engagement.
In DDSE, we are building the omnichannel customer journey seamless experience. We send relevant personalised messages to our customers offering the right product or service, in the right channel, at the right time.
We are looking for a curious, driven Web Analyst/Digital Analytics Specialist who can see meaning, insight, ideas and opportunities in online data and can translate these into concrete initiatives to improve our communication in digital channels and improve customer's experience in an omnichannel set up. In this role you will partner up within the cross functional teams to provide clarity on performance across marketing channels, cutting through the noise to deliver recommendations to improve marketing campaigns.
Joining the team will provide you with opportunities to use your experience with data management, data analysis, data engineering and business analysis, to support data-savvy end-users.
What you will be doing:
- Carrying out In-depth analysis, and presenting it to the team and other stakeholders (pre vs. post impact analyses towards changes on the site)
- Contributing to increasing traffic, conversion and sales via Nordea's digital channels
- Understanding customer journeys, identifying areas of opportunity and making suggestions for improvements
- Determining most important KPIs to track
- Creating and maintaining insightful dashboards and data visualizations to track key business metrics and helping deepen the understanding of user behaviour
- Contributing to establish and further develop a data-driven approach
- Communicating with marketing department about analysis from campaigns
- Supporting to produce reports for the Management team
- Discussing the customer experience and behaviour with the marketing team
- Keeping up to date with industry trends and best practices in web analytics, and sharing this internally
- Participating in Nordea's Nordic web analysis collaboration, and sharing experiences across the board

You have a solid commercial experience and can identify potential limitations and creatively resolve them in either a tactical or strategic manner. To succeed in this role, we believe that you:
- Have experience with major tools for web analysis such as Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics (Knowledge of Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Adobe Audience Manager is an advantage)
- Are able to clearly communicate complex issues in an easy and understandable manner to a wide range of stakeholder
- Can drive tasks on your own but equally skilled in facilitating collaboration around tasks while maintaining the customer centric mindset
- Are willing to develop new skills and capabilities by working with data scientists, and specialist, within Digital Sales and across Nordea's organisation
- Are good at collaboration in practice - work closely with other SMEs (Subject Matter Experts), involve stakeholders and always asking questions and investigating alternative solutions
- Are innovative, openminded and excited about bringing your ideas to the table. You strive for continuous improvement and love learning and trying out new things. You're dependable, willing to speak up even when it's difficult, and committed to empowering others
- Are excited to share ideas and findings with your team
Your experience and background:
- Academic degree in highly quantitative discipline or specialisation such as Business Administration or relevant fields, Management Science, Business Analytics or similar
- 2-3 years of experience in web analysis, online commerce
- In depth knowledge of web analytics
- Knowledge of business intelligence tools (PowerBI, Adobe Analytics suit)
- Proficient in written and spoken Norwegian and English (minimum accepted passed B2, ideally C1/C2)
- Beneficial if you understand the principles of working with an Agile development approach
