Senior Simulation Developer

We are OSC, a technology company developing complex simulators and simulations with world class visualisation. Our main goal is to empower engineers, operators and decision makers to reduce risk, test solutions and open up to new possibilities by using powerful simulations and visualisations. At OSC we work to develop high-end real-time simulation to help cutting-edge industries prepare and verify their advanced operations.

As a Senior Simulation Developer at OSC, you will be a part of a skilled Virtual-Prototyping team responsible for creating digital twins of heavy-lift vessel, subsea construction simulations or full mission simulators according to customer needs.

You will contribute in improving or developing optimised and realistic simulation models for dynamics and physics events that may occur during marine operations.

With your knowledge, you will be expected to take an active role in technical decision-making for the direction of our real-time physics simulation software. As a senior role within the team, you will also be expected to mentor and teach junior team members to grow their potential with emulation.

This is you:

You have a degree in computer sciences, mechanical engineering, naval engineering, robotics, or similar education (B.Sc., M.Sc., Ph.D.)
You have a strong engineering, mathematics and physics background
Preferably a good understanding of hydrodynamics or real time physics
Experience with Java or C++ (experience with other OOP languages can be relevant)
A self-driven, curious and results-oriented individual who loves to learn, teach and work with other people.
