Senior Purchaser - Subcontracting

As a Senior Purchaser for Subcontracting you will work alongside motivated and dynamic teammates, having the opportunity to contribute keeping Vard Interiors competitive on the market and assuring the right quality of the products. In this position you will be coordinating procurement activities related to subcontractors (workforce) for installation onboard the vessels.

Duties and responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement activities related to scope of work assigned to subcontractors for installation
• Responsible for procurement in the subcontracting categories according to budget and project schedule
• Negotiate and manage the existing frame agreements with subcontractors
• Build market knowledge, keep monitoring the availability of resources
• Source, evaluate and qualify new subcontractors
• Contribute to developing and implementing a global sourcing strategy
• Strengthen the global network and work closely with internal stakeholders to plan for the upcoming demands

Qualifications

• Relevant higher education in Supply Chain management/ Procurement, or other relevant experience
• Romanian and/or Italian language
• Contract and negotiation expertise
• Good cultural understanding and used to working with international subcontractors/suppliers
• Passionate about driving change
• Good knowledge of English, verbal and written
