Senior HSEQ Advisor
Do you have a strong interest in health, safety, environment, and quality?
Are you in possession of competence, background, and mindset to join the HSEQ department in a company with long traditions within the maritime aspect and a strong focus on renewable energy?
Fred. Olsen Windcarrier owns and operates three jack-up vessels in operation for installation and maintenance of offshore wind turbines on a global scale.
The HSEQ department is responsible for the management systems and supports the company with health, safety, environment, and quality.
Work tasks
As Senior HSEQ Advisor you will have an important role within our business.
Your responsibilities are:
- Reporting and follow-up of HSE incidents and non-compliances
- Actively support vessels, projects, and management with matters within health, safety, environment, quality, emergency response and risk management
- Participate in tenders when required
- Participate, improve, and carry out risk assessments such as TRA, DRA, HAZID, HAZOP, etc.
- Participate in maintenance and improvement of existing management systems in accordance with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and ISM
- Carry out internal audits, vessel audits, and vendor audits in accordance with ISO, ISM, MLC, ISPS, and internal requirements
- Contribute to a strong HSEQ culture within the company, and enhance risk-based thinking
- Implementation of HSE measures
- Carry out internal investigations when required
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience within HSEQ in operational business, preferably within offshore, energy, and/or maritime industry
- Experience with reporting, handling, and trend analysis of HSE incidents and non-conformities
- Good knowledge of quality and ISO standards, maritime standards, and law
- Experience with quality audits in accordance with ISO
- Experience with quality control (QA, QS, and/or QC) is preferred
- Good IT competence, SharePoint knowledge is an advantage
- Fluent in Norwegian
- Very good written and spoken English
