Engineering Planner

We are now strengthening our engineer planning team within Design & Engineering, and are looking for a experienced and proficient engineer!

Duties and responsibilities

The Engineering Planner is responsible for the Engineering and Procurement planning and reporting. We are now strengthening our team and we are seeking a highly competent and structured person with interest in learning and developing planning and integration of the procurement and engineering activities with the whole value chain of shipbuilding.

• Coordinate input, prepare and maintain engineering and procurement schedules.
• Monitor and report project status and hours consumption in accordance with plans and budgets.
• Coordinate design- and engineering activities, schedules and milestones with other parties involved in the overall project execution.
• Maintain and control the design and engineering projects/activities in ERP system.
• Participate in planning activities of potential new projects.
• Prepare load curves and other reports for line and project management.
• Setup and maintain databases as input for KPIs.

Qualifications

• College / University, Bachelor's degree or similar
• Experience with planning and use of Primavera is an advantage, but not a requirement.
• Extensive and relevant experience may compensate for the lack of formal education.
