Accounts Payable Accountant

The Accounts Payable Accountant is an important role within Norse Finance department who will ensure Norse has efficient systems and processes in place for smooth processing of incoming supplier invoices. The Accounts Payable Accountant (“AP Accountant”) will act as the administrator for Mediusflow, Norse’s supplier invoice approval system and will ensure all invoices are approved in accordance with company’s authority schedule.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Verifying supplier invoices prior to accepting them into Mediusflow, to ensure that invoices are raised in accordance with the Purchase Order, are addressed to the correct Norse entity etc.
- Timely registration, codification and distribution of supplier invoices for approval by correct approvers.
- Processing of supplier payments in a timely manner
- Forecast foreign currency requirements based on upcoming supplier payments
- Maintain high quality communication with Norse’s suppliers and internal stakeholders to enable smooth operations
- Active engagement in system integration projects related to Accounts Payable processes
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance
- Previous experience in Accounts Payable function
- Very good computer skills
- Very good English communication skills
