Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate IT Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will lead efforts to ensure the efficiency, quality, reliability, performance, and security of our core IT systems, networks, and infrastructure. Your technical expertise will be pivotal as we empower our organization, support our mission, and make a lasting impact on the world.

Job Responsibilities 

• Manage core IT systems, inventory, and vendor relationships.
• Monitor IT services, incidents, and requests to industry standards.
• Maintain Microsoft tools, platforms, and infrastructure, including the cloud.
• Provide timely, high-quality IT support and issue resolution.
• Ensure IT systems align with security policies and standards.
• Implement technical measures to maintain cybersecurity.
• Act as a technical expert and collaborate with cross-departmental teams.
• Document and implement industry-standard best practices, and generate management reports.
• Stay updated on tech advancements and propose innovations.
• Stay on-call for any emergency off-hours tasks and support.

Qualifications and Experience

• Hold a bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Possess at least 3 years of hands-on IT experience.
• Maintain industry-standard IT certifications, such as Azure and Microsoft 365.
• Good experience in IT system management and problem-solving.
• Manage servers, networking, and infrastructure in the cloud and on-premises environments.
• Prioritize information security across all IT domains.
• Familiar with IT Service Management (ITSM) practices.
• Proficient in meeting room and audio-visual systems.
• Have worked in various IT projects and maintain documentation.
• Adhere to industry best practices, report to management, and emphasize user-friendly IT support and communication skills.
• Proficiency in the English language (level C1); knowledge of Norwegian is advantageous.

Salary: Salary is set according to MSF Salary Policy, Grade 5 (ranging from NOK 575 783 to 636 542 depending on experience).
