Expediter

Vard Interiors is searching for an Expediter eager to work with exciting challenges and opportunities in an international environment. The Expediter is employed in the Procurement Department and reports to Procurement Manager.

Duties and responsibilities

• Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes
• Monitor and maintain project and delivery schedule
• Track orders from placement to delivery
• Confirm shipping dates with vendor
  
• Monitor shipping notices to avoid potential problems or delays with deliveries
• Prepare progress reports
• Monitor goods receipt from ERP system
• Contact vendors, manage supply requisition and keep Project team updated on potential delays
  

Qualifications

• Education within logistics/procurement is a plus
• Preferably experience with managing suppliers
• Understanding of procurement functions and processes
• Excellent written and oral communication
