There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities. Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. Aker Solutions employs approximately 15,000 people in more than 20 countries.

Aker Solutions is now looking for a Specialist Maintenance Engineer or Senior Maintenance Engineer with experience from onshore or offshore projects. The project is lead from Bergen.

Position Responsibilities:

• Use of FMECA / RCM to ensure:
  • Simplification
  • Select reliable equipment
  • Minimize/efficient maintenance
  • Remote Operation & Maintenance
  • Digitalization / CBM
• Design improvements of critical equipment to increase reliability and reduce manning.

Skills and Levels Description:

• Degree from one of the disciplines: Industrial Asset Management; Reliability, availability, maintainability and safety (RAMS); Reliability & Maintenance Engineering.
• Proficiency in SAP.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office.
• Verbal and written communications skills in Norwegian.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Good cooperation skills and interest for working in teams.
• Proactive, organized and thorough.
