SeaQ® Communication is searching for engineers to join our delivery team for exciting and international projects.

Duties and responsibilities

• Delivery Engineering of Networking and ICT Security
• Participate in, or drive, multinational task groups for delivery of system packages
• Work with documentation, end-user manuals, system manuals, etc.
• Expected some hands-on work for pre-commissioning and support to on-site commissioning.
• Expected some travel domestic and abroad.
• Expected some overtime in hectic situations.

Qualifications

• Education; College/University or Vocational School within IT/Telecom. Accredited and relevant experience, instead of college/university or vocational schooling, will be considered.
• Language; English fluent verbally, and good written, as minimum.
• Preferred experience; Design and engineering within networking and firewall systems, for deployment and integration to small- and enterprise size systems, inc. WIFI.
• Preferred experience with solutions and technology: Alcatel-Lucent Networking HW and solutions, Fortinet Firewalls and solutions.
• A plus for experience with deliveries to maritime industry.

• Able to work independently and within international teams
• Able to learn on-the-go and utilize knowledge in effective and tidy ways.
• Able to work and solve tasks in hectic work environments.
• Required to be able for security clearance by the Norwegian Security Authority.
