Are you ok to do business travel in Europe and MENA (Middle East & North Africa)?  Then you might be the person we are looking for to grow our Food Science Support Team.

The Food Science Support team is part of the System Performance organization and consists of a group of people with academic and technical background within material science, food microbiology, processing, and chemistry.  System Performance will deliver support and services to all Elopak business areas and to our customers. The Food Science Team are responsible for ensuring hygienic performance of our filling- and packaging equipment and the Food Technologists in the department are involved in validation of hygienic performance of filling machines in dairy and juice plants globally, as well as in development projects related to both packaging and filling machines. 

Key responsibilities and accountabilities are:

• Verification and testing of hygiene systems in Elopak filling machines in the field.  
• Microbiological challenge tests of filling equipment.  
• Trouble shooting and advice customers in hygiene, food safety and quality.  
• Develop and improve procedures and methods within the field of hygiene and food safety.  

Experience and qualifications required are:            

• Master/Bachelor level education in food science, microbiology, or related subjects.  
• Knowledge of HACCP and QA/QC systems.  
• Knowledge and interest in food processing, microbiology, and packaging.  
• Excellent English knowledge, oral and written.  
• Flexible and willing to travel internationally
