Product Engineer - NavCom

Due to increased workload, we are now looking for a Product Engineer - NavCom. The position will be responsible for the technical and administrative implementation of NavCom projects, including responsibility for equipment being ordered, as well as documentation and software.

Duties and responsibilities

• Prepare schedule, coordinate and engineer assigned engineering projects
• Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans) and report regularly on project status
• Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
• Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions
• Stay updated on rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
• Class Approval and Product Certification for assigned projects
• Participate in Factory Acceptance testing and Sea Trials
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree within electro / electronics / telecommunications.
• Relevant work experience can compensate for the lack of education
• Certificate in electro / electronics is an advantage
• Experience from working in projects
• Experience from the electrical industry, working with low current
• Fluent in English and Norwegian
