VARD Information and Communication Technology (ICT) provides a variety of services within ICT operation and support. With focus on efficient and stabile operation, we provide local support on infrastructure and Business Systems combined with continual improvements. The ICT organization consist of 50 employees globally, where 35 are located in Norway. The ICT organization seeks to strengthen the project team with a Junior Project Manager to assist in running internal ICT projects and deliveries. The position reports to the Head of IT Solutions Strategy and Design Implementation. Title: ICT Junior Project Manager

Duties and responsibilities
Based on defined procedures and methodology for running ICT projects, you will as Junior Project Manager assist in managing and coordinating a range of activities such as clarifying scope, defining timelines, project budgeting, reporting, stakeholder engagement and third-party follow-up. We are looking for a highly motivated person with good ICT understanding who is able to identify and ensure delivery on all critical goals and objectives in relation to various types of projects, such as software upgrades, system improvements and implementation of new solutions.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist in delivering projects according to the established project management process
- Manage projects with both internal members and third-party vendors
- Contribute to ICT project portfolio planning and reporting
- Cooperate with the procurement area in the definition of quotes and contracts;
deliver technical specifications and requirements from an ICT application perspective - Contributing to alignment of project management methodology across VARD entities
Qualifications
- BSc/BA or other higher education, or relevant practical experience
- Change, project management and planning understanding and experience
- Good understanding of project methodology and process
- Knowledge of Prince2 or PMP, ITIL, Lean and risk-based planning
- Professional communication skills in both a Scandinavian language and English
Not essential, but desirable:
- ITIL knowledge
- MS Project experience

- Conscious of own competence and are keen to learn
- Strong analytic and strategic skills
