Group Accounting Coordinator

Vard Group AS is searching for a Group Accounting Coordinator reporting to Group Accounting Manager

Main responsibilities

• Preparation, analysis and reporting of quarterly financial results to group
• Manage the month-end closing process to ensure timely and correct financial information 
• Assist with annual statutory audits and quarterly reporting 
• Perform controlling activities for running projects (reconciliation of project reporting) 
• Reporting of statistical data 
• Reviewing internal controls to ensure the controls are mitigating risk and are complying with the internal audit 
• Year-end closing and preparation of financial statements 
• Tax reporting 
• Day to day activities such as intercompany netting, and other ad hoc responsibilities 
• Managing projects from Group Chief Accountant 
• Be a key team player in contributing to good financial control and awareness within the Group
  

Education & Experience 

• Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting or Economics
• 3-5 years relevant work experience as controller in an international environment and/or from Big 4 accounting firm.
• Experience with Excel, SAP, IFS and Maestro is an advantage
