About Summer Internship in Telenor
Telenor is proud of being an important contributor in Norway?s digitalization journey and a key stakeholder in forming and empowering societies. We are always on the lookout for the brightest minds and are currently looking for young talents to participate in our Summer Internship Program 2020. As part of the program, you will work in cross-functional teams to solve key challenges in projects that will form Telenor as a company in the future. The program lasts for 8 weeks and at the end of the internship, you will have the opportunity to present your findings to the top management team in Telenor Norway.

About the Mobile division in Telenor:
The Mobile Division is responsible for Telenor Norway?s offering of mobile services to consumers in Norway. We are responsible for product development, sales, marketing and customer care for all mobile services sold to the consumer by Telenor and Talkmore brands.

About the project:
We are looking for a group of motivated and dedicated students to work hand in hand with Telenor?s team on the next generation of contacts and phone calls management solutions. You will start from current solution and work towards enriching both the ?contact? concept as well as the interaction space around it. We are working towards putting people and locations in the centre of a seamless experience where both information and interactions are at the user´s fingertips. There are many opportunities to enrich the contact experience with additional assets that result either from the user´s activity or other relevant Telenor service offers, and we want you to help us find the right way to do this. The end goal is to bring value to the end users around contacts management and create a safe and secure space for them to enjoy a simpler day to day life and, through that, manage organic user and usage growth.

We are eager to welcome 1 growth marketing professional and 2 ambitious engineers and that will help us shape the new relevant contacts experience in Mine Kontakter with a focus on Safety and Security.

We look for both engineering and marketing profiles. Please reach out to us if you are a frontend iOS developer, frontend Android developer, backend engineers or if you are passionate about growth and marketing. 

We are looking for team partners who understand the value of putting the user at the center and will help translate the user needs into wonderful features with friendly, intuitive interfaces. 

The project manager on Telenor side will be Amel Misimovic.

We are looking for applicants who:

• Are in their last year of a Bachelor program or first year of a Master program in engineering or similar.
• Are in their last year of a Bachelor program or first year of a Master program in Marketing, entrepreneurship or similar.
• Some experience with iOS or Android development, or backend programming languages.
• Some experience or advanced knowledge driving growth through relevant product based growth hacking methods that leverage user needs for creating powerful growth tools
• Have good academic results
• Are ambitious, curious, driven, and enjoy a challenge
• Have good communication skills in English
