Postdoc position
Oslo and Akershus University of Applied Sciences offers a 3-year postdoc position with the core research group INTEGRATE funded by the Research Council of Norway.
The postdoc position shall contribute to INTEGRATE by analysing aspects of organization, coordination and collaboration within and/or across different professions, services, or sectors. Postdoc projects focusing on theoretical and methodological questions are welcome.
INTEGRATE studies how to achieve coordinated assistance in the field of labour market inclusion to people with complex needs. Through its research the project also aims to contribute knowledge of relevance to other fields.
INTEGRATE has the overall aim of developing a core group for research on interaction within and between the services. The postdoc position will be part of this core group, and specifically contribute to the overall aim of INTEGRATE. The postdoc will be attached to work package 8. INTEGRATE will be developed by researchers from Oslo and Akershus University College (HiOA) and Inland Norway University (INN).
The position is located at the Centre for the Study of Professions (SPS) at HiOA. Both SPS and INTEGRATE have a multidisciplinary and multi-methodological profile, comprising research from a range of disciplines. SPS aims to be a leading centre for research and graduate study within the study of professions in the Nordic countries.
Tasks and responsibilities
- conduct research on a subproject of relevance to the main INTEGRATE Project
- research coordinator for INTEGRATE in a 33% position
Qualifications
- PhD in a relevant field (Sociology, Political Science, Health Sciences, Economics, Organisation Theory, Social Work, or other)
- strong competence on methods (quantitative and/or qualitative)
- relevant previous research will be accorded importance
- good/excellent language skills in English and Norwegian (or other Scandinavian languages)

Evaluation

- quality of previous research, including the PhD dissertation

Remuneration
Salary is set in accordance with the Norwegian State Salary Scale, job code 1352 Postdoc, NOK 517 700-650 200. Higher salary may be considered for particularly qualified candidates. By law 2% of the salary is deducted as to the State Pension Fund.
