About the position

The working location and legal employment are at Novenco AS (Novenco Norway), Trollåsen, Norway.

Novenco AS is the Norwegian entity of the Novenco Marine & Offshore group.

The position reports to the Managing Director of Novenco Norway and is a member of the Leader Team in Novenco AS.

The position will also have a reporting line to the CEO of Novenco Denmark, Køge, which is part of Novenco Marine & Offshore.

Novenco Marine & Offshore is looking for an experienced QHSE Manager who can make quality management a business advantage supporting our mission, vision, strategy and business goals.

In this role, you will ensure that the management systems of Novenco Marine & Offshore in Norway and Denmark drive continuous improvement, support operational performance, reduce risk, and contribute to business performance and customer satisfaction across the organizations.

Quality management should be a business improvement function that contributes directly to operational and commercial performance.

The position will lead the Quality Management Committee in Novenco Marine & Offshore which works across the sites in Norway, Denmark and China with the goal to continuously develop and improve the group’s performance.

The role is central to strengthening our position in highly regulated and quality-critical markets, including offshore, defense, marine, and future nuclear and data center applications.

The position requires regular travelling to Denmark and occasional other international travels.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the company's QHSE management system in Norway and Denmark
• Lead Novenco Marine & Offshore’s Quality Management Committee
• Collaborate closely with the Leadership Teams and international sites
• Drive continuous improvement across all business functions and projects
• Support achievement of strategic and business performance goals
• Maintain and develop relevant certifications and compliance requirements

Qualifications:

We are looking for a leader with relevant education and experience from project-based engineering, manufacturing, marine, offshore or defense-related industries.

Relevant formal education, e.g.

• Bachelor's/Master's degree and/or relevant senior experience in a similar role
• Solid experience with ISO 9001
• Experience with ISO 27001 is an advantage
• Experience with ISO 14001 is an advantage
• Fluent English, both written and spoken
