Electronics Engineer

Are you interested in electronics, sensor technology and hands-on engineering?

Reach Subsea is looking for an Electronics Engineer to strengthen our Monitoring Engineering team in Bergen. We are seeking a flexible and curious engineer with an interest in the development, testing and maintenance of electronics, instruments and electro-mechanical systems used in our subsea operations.

You may be a recent graduate looking to start your career, or you may already have some relevant experience. What matters most is your technical interest, willingness to learn and motivation to contribute as part of our team.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

As an Electronics Engineer, you will work with a combination of development, testing and practical engineering tasks. Your responsibilities may include:

  • Participating in product development projects
  • Electronic design, simulations and PCB design
  • Assembly of circuitry, soldering and small-scale electronic manufacturing
  • Setting up and conducting tests for sensors and systems during product development and survey preparations
  • Maintenance of equipment and instruments
  • Assembly and modification of mechanical components and systems
  • Supporting technical documentation related to development activities
  • Participating in offshore surveys when required

Who are we looking for?

We believe you have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Control Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline.

Experience or knowledge within some of the following areas would be an advantage:

  • Electronic development and PCB design
  • Microcontrollers and embedded programming
  • FPGA/VHDL
  • Electronic laboratory equipment and instruments
  • Instrumentation and sensor systems
  • Analysis and simulation tools
  • Mechanical workshop and hand tools
  • Marine, subsea or geophysical technology

You should be comfortable communicating in English, both written and spoken, and enjoy solving technical challenges with a practical and collaborative approach.

Recent graduates as well as candidates with relevant work experience are encouraged to apply.
