We are Looking for a Commercially Minded Operational Leader

The Manager Crane & Lifting is responsible for the overall commercial, operational, and financial performance of the Crane & Lifting service line. The role holds full Profit & Loss (P&L) accountability and ensures the safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of crane and lifting services to customers while driving business growth, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.

The position leads the planning and execution of all crane and lifting projects, working closely with Service Excellence (SE) to secure the appropriate personnel, equipment, and resources required for successful project delivery. The Manager Crane & Lifting is responsible for maximizing resource utilization, maintaining compliance with HSE and quality standards, and continuously improving operational performance.

In addition to operational leadership, the role serves as the primary point of contact for existing customers, developing strong relationships that support customer retention, service expansion, and additional sales opportunities. The Manager Crane & Lifting also contributes to business development initiatives, new market opportunities, bid preparation, service innovation, and staffing strategies.

As a leader, the Manager Crane & Lifting provides direction, coaching, and support to project managers and operational teams, ensuring effective execution through strong processes, performance management, and people development. The role requires a balance of commercial awareness, financial management, operational expertise, and leadership capability to deliver sustainable growth and outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Full responsibility for the financial performance and profitability of the Crane & Lifting service line.

• Leadership and oversight of all crane and lifting operations and projects.

• Customer relationship management, business growth, and contract expansion.

• Operational planning, resource optimization in coordination with Service Excellence.

• Delivery of services in accordance with HSE, quality, and regulatory requirements.

• Team leadership, performance management, coaching, and development of project managers and operational personnel.

• Participation in business development, bid preparation, new service development, and market expansion activities.

• Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and governance standards.

Qualifications

A commercially minded operational leader with strong project management experience, proven people leadership capabilities, and a track record of delivering financial and operational results within the crane, lifting, energy, offshore, marine, or related industries. The successful candidate combines customer focus, business acumen, and leadership skills to drive performance while fostering a strong safety culture and high-performing teams.
