Ophthalmologist in a Unique Archipelago Environment

We are currently seeking a Specialist in Ophthalmology with a few years of experience to join a unique archipelago environment, where you will have the opportunity to work clinically with a primary focus on outpatient care.

 

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a certified Specialist in Ophthalmology.
  • Has broad experience with both adult and pediatric patients.
  • Is able to work independently in a broad role that includes outpatient consultations, minor surgical procedures, management of diabetes-related eye conditions, and injections.
  • Enjoys working independently and taking significant responsibility, while also having strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate well with colleagues.

Requirements

  • EU-recognized specialist certification in Ophthalmology.
  • Minimum 3 years of post-specialization experience.
  • Broad independent clinical competence, including pediatric ophthalmology.
  • Experience with routine and advanced ophthalmological diagnostics and procedures.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to learn Swedish.
