Mechanic wanted for the fishing industry in Northern Norway

Are you an experienced mechanic who likes hands-on work? For our client in the fishing industry, we are looking for a skilled and motivated mechanic.

The workplace is located in the northernmost part of Norway, surrounded by fjords and beautiful coastal nature.

About the position

You will work with a wide range of tasks, including:

General maintenance
Welding
Replacing valves
Construction work
Mechanical repairs and troubleshooting

The work is mainly during the day. A rotation schedule can be arranged for the right person.

What we're looking for

Practical experience is more important than formal education
Experience with welding and mechanical work
You can solve problems on your own
You work in a structured and efficient way, even when it's busy
You can communicate in Norwegian or English
