Head of CoE Accounts Payable

Purpose of the Role

Heimstaden is now seeking a structured and driven finance professional to lead the establishment and development of a Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Accounts Payable (AP) across Heimstaden Bostad's 9 markets. Heimstaden is rolling out D365 FO combined with AI based invoice workflow tool vic.ai, which are both key enablers for the centre of excellence. In the role as Head of CoE Accounts Payable, you will drive standardisation, efficiency, and quality in AP processes.

CoE is expected to be a hybrid set-up with direct reports both in Oslo and in the local markets. Hence, travelling will be required in the early stages of the project. The position is Oslo-based and reports to Director Finance Systems & Operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement the CoE AP operating model across all countries
• Standardise AP processes, policies, and controls
• Lead transition of local AP activities into the CoE structure
• Drive automation, digitalisation, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate closely with country finance teams and key stakeholders
• Ensure high-quality, efficient, and compliant AP operations
• Build and develop a high-performing CoE team

Profile & Competence

• Experience within Accounts Payable, Finance Process Operations in general, and/or Shared Services with solid understanding of end-to-end finance processes.
• Proven track record in leading transformations, preferably CoE or SSC implementations
• Strong project management and execution skills with the ability to deliver results in complex environments
• Experience with ERP implementations and finance automation is an advantage
