SmartCraft is on an exciting growth journey, and we are now looking for a Financial Controller to strengthen our finance team in Norway.

You will report to Head of Finance and be a part of a skilled, collaborative team where knowledge is shared, ideas are welcomed, and everyone contributes.

You will play an important role in ensuring high-quality financial reporting while helping improve processes, support business decisions, and contribute to the continued development of our finance function.

Your initial focus will be on our Norwegian business. At the same time, we are implementing NetSuite across the group and evolving how we work – giving you the opportunity to be involved in key projects and, over time, collaborate with colleagues across Northern Europe.

What you will be working on

You will work closely with both the finance team and the wider organization, turning numbers into insights and supporting better decisions:

Your responsibilities will include:

• Contributing hands-on to the group’s financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, and annual), including preparation and posting of accounting entries

• Assisting in the preparation of statutory accounts

• Ensure high-quality financial follow-up and reliable data

• Analysing and following up on KPIs

• Improving and streamlining processes and routines

• Acting as a sparring partner on accounting, tax, and VAT matters

• Delivering analyses and ad hoc reports that create clarity and direction

Who we think you are

You enjoy working with numbers – but even more understanding what they mean and how they drive the business forward.

You likely have:

• A degree in finance, accounting, or similar

• 2–4 years of experience from auditing, accounting, or a similar role

• Strong interest in accounting and financial topics

• Solid Excel skills and an interest in technology and systems

• Experience with NetSuite is a plus, but not a requirement

• Strong communication skills in both Norwegian and English
