Saipem Ltd are Saipem’s global ROV Support Function. We specialize in all aspects of ROV Operations, including Drill Support, Construction, IRM, Survey, Pip/Cable Lay and Decommissioning.

In our onshore control room in Stavanger, we have a vacancy available for an experienced ROV Supervisor/Sr ROV Pilot Tech. for 6-12 months with the possibility for an extention.

This is an onshore role working Monday to Friday in the Control room for a ROV Supervisor / Snr PT with strong Piloting skills, competent to Snr P/T level (min.) c/w CoC. Familiar with Saipem ROV Operations Procedures, Equipment/Tooling and processes, ideally with pre-existing knowledge of Njord Field/Project.

The position reports daily to the Offshore ROV Supervisor on board Njord with a functional reporting line to the Saipem Ltd, ROV Operations Manager in Aberdeen.

Requirements:

• Experience/knowledge of all aspects of ROV operations within all sectors including Offshore Renewables, Construction, Field Development, IRM, and drilling, with a strong interest in new/developing Technology within the ROV industry/section.
• Good communication and interpersonal / people management skills, strong ability to mentor Onshore ROV Pilots, and enhance communication protocols with Offshore team.
• Fluent in both Norwegian and English language.
• Must reside in Stavanger / local to Onshore Control Room / Saipem Office.
• Proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications
