ROC Surveyor
In this role, you will remotely monitor survey systems, navigation and positioning data, and support offshore teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution. Working from our ROC in Haugesund, you will collaborate closely with surveyors, ROV teams, bridge personnel, and project stakeholders to maintain operational continuity, data integrity, and system performance.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor and operate online survey, navigation, and positioning systems from the ROC• Provide real-time operational support to offshore survey and subsea operations• Monitor survey data quality, positioning integrity, and system performance during live operations• Identify anomalies, support troubleshooting, and escalate technical or operational issues when required• Coordinate with offshore teams and project personnel to support safe and efficient operations• Maintain operational logs, shift handovers, survey documentation, and reporting• Contribute to operational readiness, mobilisation activities, continuous improvement, and safe project execution
What We Are Looking For
• Degree or technical qualification in Hydrographic Survey, Geomatics, Marine Technology, Engineering, Geoscience, or a related discipline• Experience with online survey systems, navigation software, positioning systems, and digital survey workflows• Offshore survey, ROV survey support, positioning, or subsea operations experience is advantageous• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills• Fluent English, written and verbal
