Junior Customer Solution Engineer

We are looking for a Junior Customer Solutions Engineer to join our global Customer Solutions Engineering (CSE) team (16 team members worldwide) based in Lysaker.

This is a temporary position for a little over six months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs.

The role is well suited for recent graduates or candidates with 1–2 years of experience who want to build a career in pre-sales, solution design, and digital services.

You will support experienced CSEs in designing customer solutions, preparing proposals, and improving internal processes, while developing toward a fully qualified Customer Solutions Engineer role.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing technical proposals, tenders, and customer presentations.
• Gather and organize customer requirements and input from internal teams.
• Support the development of solution designs and architecture drafts.
• Help coordinate activities between sales, engineering, product, and delivery teams.
• Participate in internal solution reviews related to cybersecurity, IT, and cloud services.
• Contribute to the development of a managed services model.
• Shadow senior CSEs in customer meetings and projects.

Qualifications and Personal Attributes

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, IT, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience (recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
• Interest in networking, cloud technology, cybersecurity, or digital solutions.
• Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to work.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and organization.
• Good written and verbal communication skills are an advantage.
• Proactive, curious, and eager to learn.
• Comfortable working in an international and cross-functional environment.
• Fluent in both English and Norwegian, written and spoken.
