Site Manager Vard Interiors, Brattvaag

Duties and responsibilities
- Responsible for coordination of all Vard Interiors installation activities at site
- Define a schedule with Dep. managers and supervisors at the beginning of each project
- In charge of coordinating planning of installation and resolving collaboration issues
- Create and follow-up Primavera schedule according to agreed milestones.
- Resource planning for all VARD Interiors departments
- Material management for activities planned on-site including transfer of materials from RO to NO
- Weekly progress reporting
- Follow up subcontractors and suppliers performance
- Secure coordination between VARD Interiors and other entities’ activities onboard
Qualifications
- Good level of spoken and written English
- Knowledge of safe work methods and practices
- Basic knowledge of ship class rules
- Good computer skills
- Ability to use the office package, especially MS word and excel
- Ability to understand constructive drawings and functional drawings
- Ability to use viewer for 3D drawings

Personal qualities
- Knowledge of ship interior, piping and HVAC-R systems and overall understanding of schematic drawings
- Good leadership, coordination, and communication skills
- Manual skills to perform small installation activities and commissioning activities
- Ability to read and understand instruction manuals and use of tools
- Must be able to work in team, must be self-driven, reliable, and responsible
