To succeed with these ambitions, we need skilled colleagues on our team, and we are now looking for a knowledgeable and engaged Group Financial Controller.

About the role

As Group Financial Controller, you will take on a broad range of responsibilities within group consolidation and reporting, as well as improvement initiatives at group level. The position reports to the Head of Group Accounting.

What will you do

• Responsible for the consolidation of the Group’s financial statements in accordance with IFRS

• Ensure high-quality and timely Group Financial reporting including quarterly stock exchange reporting and preparation of the annual financial statements

• Perform Intercompany reconciliation across multiple entities and maintain strong balance sheet control, including reconciliation and reviews

• Drive efficiency and improvements in the consolidation and reporting processes

• Act as a subject-matter expert on accounting, FRS and transfer pricing

• Contribute to enforcement of accounting principles for the Group, including IFRS compliance.

• Act as owner and superuser of the Group’s consolidation tool Cognos

• Contribute to continuous improvement and development of routines, processes, and financial insight

Desired Qualifications

• Higher education in finance or accounting (Bachelor or Master’s degree)

• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience from audit and/or group accounting

• Extensive experience from financial reporting according to IFRS

• Solid competence in technical consolidation. Knowledge of Cognos is an advantage.

• Strong analytical skills, particularly Excel, at the same time curious about how AI could be applied

• Experience with reporting for listed companies is an advantage

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Norwegian and English
