Help us scale our charging network across Europe!
Are you excited about building the energy stations of the future? Circle K is building one of Europe’s most convenient and customer-centric EV charging networks. To support our continued growth, we are now hiring a Senior Manager Network Development to ensure we grow our charging network efficiently at high pace and at the right locations – across our European business units.
This is a highly cross-functional role working closely with Business Units – their directors and deployment teams, as well as central eMobility teams, to ensure our network strategy is translated into efficient and scalable deployment across markets.
We are looking for a highly driven and structured profile who thrives as the intersection of strategy and execution. This role is ideal for someone with a consulting background and experience from similarly complex environments, who enjoys turning strategic ambitions into real-world outcomes through strong stakeholder management, clear prioritization, and hands-on execution.
What you’ll do
You will own the charger roll-out governance and strategic principles for developing our charging network across our European markets such as Germany, BeNeLux and Scandinavia. You will work closely with our business units to ensure that we deploy chargers at commercially attractive sites, maintain strong deployment momentum, and continuously improve how we plan and execute network rollouts.
You will:
Lead and develop a small Network Development team, currently consisting of one team member, with potential for future growth
Based on our overall eMobility market strategy, define and own the strategic principles for how we develop our charging network and future energy station footprint. Together with the Business Units, translate this into country-specific network strategies and continuously refine them to ensure we deploy chargers at commercially attractive locations aligned with our long-term network ambitions
Ensure we have structured site selection processes, including the use of site selection tools and data-driven analysis to prioritize the most attractive locations
Track and drive charger rollout progress across markets, working closely with Business Unit deployment teams to ensure a strong project pipeline and sufficient deployment momentum
Develop and continuously improve deployment processes, tools, and governance to ensure efficient rollout in terms of time, cost, and quality
Facilitate best-practice sharing across markets and support Business Units in executing deployments effectively
Manage key stakeholders across functions and markets to ensure alignment, ownership, and progress on network deployment targets
Stay at the forefront of industry trends and market developments related to EV charging network expansion and future energy infrastructure
What you bring
Experience from management consulting, strategy, business transformation, infrastructure, large-scale rollout programs, or similarly complex environments
Strong strategic and analytical capabilities, with the ability to turn strategy into execution and tangible results
A track record of driving initiatives across multiple stakeholders, functions, or business units in complex environments, hence excellent communication and collaboration skills
The confidence to challenge, influence, and stand firm when needed to drive progress and make decisions
A structured, pragmatic, and solution-oriented way of working, with strong prioritization skills
Experience from infrastructure, real estate, or capital-intensive industries is a plus, but not a requirement
A master’s degree in engineering, economics, business, or a related field
The motivation to scale a rapidly growing business in a fast-moving environment
Fluency in English (written and spoken)
What we offer
A purpose-driven scale-up environment – at the forefront of the energy transition
A high-impact role – with responsibility and ownership from day one
A strong team culture – that combines energy, warmth, and ambition
A young, dynamic, and social team with skilled colleagues across Europe
The opportunity to play a key role in transforming a global fuel retailer into a renewable mobility leader
Great pension and insurance schemes
Modern, centrally located offices in Oslo, with excellent lunch and gym access
We believe in strength-based and coaching leadership. Our values – Take Ownership, Play to Win, One Team, and Do the Right Thing – guide us in everything we do.
