As a Lead Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, securing, and improving infrastructure solutions for industrial and operational technology environments. You will contribute to the development of robust, secure, and efficient infrastructure platforms that support HMH’s products and services.

In this role, you will:

• Design and maintain secure infrastructure solutions for ICS environments

• Work with virtualization platforms, including Hyper-V and VMware

• Support and develop infrastructure based on Storage Spaces Direct / Storage2Direct solutions

• Drive automation and optimization of infrastructure processes

• Strengthening solutions through industrial cybersecurity principles and practices

• Perform hardening of hardware and software-based products

• Develop and maintain scripts for repetitive and operational processes

• Work with backup and recovery solutions to ensure resilience and availability

• Apply and support compliance with the IEC 62443 framework for cybersecurity in industrial automation and control systems

• Establish, document, and improve products and services within secure infrastructure

• Conduct and support cybersecurity risk assessments

• Act as a driver for continuous improvement

• Develop work processes and incorporate these into HMH’s delivery model

• Contribute to automation initiatives

We also think it is important that you have the following qualifications:

• Experience with secure infrastructure design in ICS or industrial environments

• Practical knowledge of different virtualization platforms

• Experience with automation, scripting, and process optimization

• Knowledge of industrial cybersecurity concepts and secure system design

• Experience with hardening of hardware and software systems

• Understanding of the IEC 62443 framework

• Ability to document infrastructure solutions, services, and work processes clearly and effectively

• Experience contributing to or performing cybersecurity risk assessments

• A proactive mindset with a strong focus on continuous improvement, collaboration, and quality
