As part of the continued development of our Engineering organization, Ocean Installer is looking for a Discipline Lead – Structural. This role will have key responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the Structural discipline and play an important role in further professionalization, standardization, and capacity management.The position involves close collaboration with the project organization, other disciplines, and Engineering Management.What we can offer you

- Day‑to‑day leadership and operation of the Structural discipline
- Administrative responsibility for the discipline, including:
- Resource planning and staffing of projects, studies, and tender support
- Follow-up of workload, availability and priorities
- Close technical and operational follow‑up of the Structural team
- Contribute to high quality and consistency of deliverables across projects
- Safety, Operability, and cost design assessments
- Further development of work processes, methods, and best practices within Structural
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and competence development within the discipline
- Contribute to tender work and early‑phase evaluations when required
- Work closely with the superior manager role on technical direction, development, and escalation

So, if you do possess some of these qualities, we could be a perfect match:
- Higher technical education within structural / civil engineering
- Solid experience from structural engineering within offshore / subsea / EPCI projects
- Experience with project execution and multidisciplinary collaboration
- Strong understanding of engineering processes, interfaces, and project execution
- Ancillary design experience is an advantage
- Experience with resource coordination and discipline management is an advantage
- Hands-on experience with international industry standards, codes, and recommended practices related to marine operations, structural design, materials, and fabrication (DNV, NORSOK, EN, ISO, API, ASME, etc.).
- Familiarity with client-specific standards is considered an advantage (e.g., Equinor TRs, Total GSs).
- Experience with industry tools such as STAAD.Pro, Ansys, AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar software.
- Good communication skills in English
