As our current CFO is approaching retirement, we are seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join our executive team. With just over 300 employees, the Norwegian Hull Club Group is large enough for you to make a real impact at scale, while still being small enough for you to know your colleagues and influence the direction of the business. What you’ll be doing:

As our CFO, you will be a key member of the Group Management Team and play an important role in the overall management and development of Norwegian Hull Club. You will contribute to shaping the company’s financial direction, performance and capital allocation, and act as a trusted financial advisor to the CEO, providing insight to support key business decisions.

You will have overall responsibility for the group’s financial management, governance and financial integrity. This includes financial planning, performance follow-up, balance sheet management as well as ensuring efficient use of capital in line with the group’s strategy and risk appetite.

You will lead and further develop a well-structured finance function, ensuring the right capacity, competence and systems to support the organisation. The function includes responsibility for finance & accounting and the investment area supported by a strong team. We manage a significant investment portfolio invested across global financial markets

You will ensure robust financial reporting, strong control frameworks and compliance with regulatory requirements, including relevant Solvency and capital requirements. You will also follow up the overall financial position and development of the group’s subsidiaries and contribute to continuous improvement of processes and decision support.

Qualifications and preferred qualities:

We are seeking a high-calibre finance leader with strong analytical capabilities, high integrity and a modern, forward-leaning mindset.

You bring experience from finance leadership roles (CFO, Finance Director or similar) and have a solid understanding of financial reporting, governance and accounting principles, combined with knowledge of financial markets, capital management and risk. Experience with investments and financial risk management is an advantage. Preferably, you hold a Master’s degree in Finance or Business Administration, or possess equivalent experience from the insurance or finance industry.

You combine a strategic perspective with strong execution capabilities and attention to detail. You are able to balance operational control with broader business insight and contribute actively to performance and decision-making across the organisation.

You are a collaborative leader with proven ability to build, lead and develop high-performing teams, and to engage effectively across different levels of the organisation.

Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken, you are able to communicate complex financial matters in a clear and confident manner.
